STEWARDSHIP

We have both an obligation and a passion to be excellent stewards of the land, finances, and other resources that have been graciously entrusted to us by God and His people. Biblically and historically it was common for missions to be connected to the marketplace. For GMSA this would include using the land for various business activities that enable the mission to empower African people with skills and jobs, be witnesses for Christ in real life settings, and become increasingly self-sustaining. This will provide an excellent means for impacting the communities and nation through business training and economic empowerment. Some examples are;

• Livestock: Currently there is a small herd of 51 sheep. The farm can sustain 600 head when optimized. Infrastructure is 90% developed.

• Agriculture: We have supplied sod to local landscapers. There is also a large vegetable garden which helps the ministries grocery budget with the surplus being given to the poor. Intensive agriculture under protective netting is our main objective for development.

• Future Marketplace Projects: Construction, arts and crafts, light manufacturing, import/export, and computer construction are some of the empowerment businesses  that are being planned.
