Wow, 2008 has been quite a year so far! Full of great expectations and
also a year with a lot of pain and challenges. The whole world seems to
be in upheaval of one sort or another...

June 2008 Ps. Jody -- Winter has arrived
here in South Africa just as Summer has arrived for most of you. So as
all of you are very busy with your families home from school, planting
your gardens, mowing your grass....I find myself in a quieter time
mostly focused on just trying to keep everyone warm. And I find myself
thinking of all of you a lot...

and I left on Friday morning 15th February for a 27 hour
drive to Zimbabwe one of the neighbouring countries of South...

December 2007 -- Its
an amazing thing the spirit of Christmas. I could really feel it today.
Jody and the kids setup our tree and decorated the house while I worked
at the dining room table. All the way down here in South Africa yet its
strong, and real, and special. No snow, 75 degrees and a misty muggy day
today, but its starting to feel a lot like Christmas! I’ve been walking
around singing bits of Christmas songs in a funny deep voice, why is
that?
