- January 2010 - Susanna's Story - A little
peak into my mind and a fragment of my story...
So last night my mind was buzzing and my pencil was trying to keep up.
When I need to make sense of things I sit down and write, and that’s
when everything seems to become crystal clear.
I was trying to make sense of dating vs. courtship in the world of
today... |

Heaven Holds Me - Do you know that feeling when someone you love
deeply wraps you in their arms… that feeling where you’re wholly and
completely consumed with love for that person, where their arms are the
only place you wanna be, all the bad disappears and peace takes its
place, you feel like you can take on the world coz you’re so consumed in
love.. |

On Sunday, November 1, we (the whole GMSA team) will
celebrate 7 years as a ministry here in South Africa.
Unbelievable!!!!! As I (Jody) reflected on this occasion I found myself
so amazed and grateful to God for all He has done and I wanted to write
and also thank all of you.
After seven years I am so thankful... |

August 2009
I just can't contain myself, I
have to write and share with you the great things God is doing in my
life/our lives.
These past two weeks, God has totally changed my life.
Needless to say, July was one of the toughest months I have experienced
in a very long time. Like a lot of you, our finances are very tight. I
felt the weight of life, and the heaviness, and knew I needed God in a
new way desperately, but had difficulty connecting with Him.
Then came August and the Aussies. Pastor Peter
Nicholes came for a week and brought his ministry team with him: Wendy,
Yvette and Ben. They all came full of the
Holy Ghost
and ready to give and give and give. And that is just what they did!
They came as vessels ready to be poured out on us here in
South Africa.
And the
Holy
Spirit was poured out on us in a very profound,
impacting and life-changing way... |

I remember the story about the pastor who
stood at the pulpit one Sunday and announced to the people: "Folks, I
have some bad news, some good news, and some more bad news." Quickly he
had everyone's attention. "The bad news is that the roof on this church
is shot and we have to replace it. But the good news is, we have the
money! But the bad news is.....it's in your wallets!"
Funny, huh? But interesting. I believe that the money is always there
for the work God wants to do, it's just that it's in our wallets and
bank accounts! |

Hope you are enjoying your
summer and a break from the school schedule! Here in South Africa, the
weather has turned cool, but still beautiful and sunny many days. We
spend many of these evenings huddled around the fireplace as a family.
Just wanted to catch you all up on the latest happenings here at GMSA... |

-- June 2009 Let me introduce you
to a young man by the name of Danny. He is eighteen years old and he
became part of our church about a year ago. Danny lives with his grandma
for the last year or so after his other grandma passed away about a year
ago. |

Ps. Marshall Geswint
-- Storehouse youth camp started
6th April till 8th April. This was the best camp for me ever in the last
fifteen years of being involved with young people. We went to the camp
without any theme or scripture as a focus point which is not normal to
do, since we decided to be under the open heaven and allow God to lead
us into His presence without any human effort from our side. Wow God did
not disappoint us in this regard and we truly ate the fruit of being
completely dependant upon His grace... |
