The program works in conjunction with your bank, similar to direct deposit of payroll, Social Security checks and other electronic banking services you’re already familiar with. It simply accomplishes normal transactions electronically, inexpensively and quickly…without wasting postage, paper and time. Most importantly, this program will give us the monthly financial stability needed to make sound decisions. What does the Monthly Transfer Authorization Form do? This form gives your bank or credit card company permission to transfer your gift directly to Generational Ministries South Africa beginning on the specified date that you choose. Which is better—checking, savings, or credit card? This choice is yours—they all provide financial stability for GMSA and free the ministry up to complete God’s mission without the distraction of additional fundraisers to cover monthly bills. Credit card companies will deduct 3% of each credit card gift, so you may prefer to utilize checking or savings options to maximize your gift’s benefit to the ministry or to add 3% to your gift amount. If my financial situation were to change, could I change my monthly transfer? Absolutely. You are in complete control of your gift, and you can alter the amount at any time simply by contacting GMSA at gmffin@comcast.net The amount can be raised, reduced or suspended at any time. Is my account information secure? Absolutely. GMSA is well aware of identity theft concerns. The automatic transfer company, CheckFree, has established itself as the premier electronic processor since 1981 and provides secure services to clients like Wells Fargo, USPO, Yahoo, and Bank of America. Will I receive a receipt each month? No. In order to best utilize your partnership gift and to reduce administrative costs, you will receive a year-end giving statement in January. [Home] |
